Credit Control Manager - London. Ref: SCR 257

We have an opportunity for an influential credit control manager to join a prestigious professional services firm in a stand alone role. Backed by the finance director, your mission will be to raise the profile of credit control and instil & implement the credit control policy. You’ll need to make your presence felt internally and be a key liaison between financial management, project accountants, contract managers and clients.

Responsibilities include: devising and leading the credit control & pre-legal procedures for more than 200 live projects, designing and implementing new business processes (e.g. Dunning), driving the credit control function forward, ensuring credit control procedures are followed correctly, coaching & supporting internal colleagues in credit control techniques, personally handling problem accounts, and asking the right questions at the weekly debtors meeting. It is important to manage client relationships sensitively, working together with internal client accountants to ensure debt is collected. For success, you will need excellent communication skills, the ability to build trust, and the leadership qualities to achieve collaboration.

NB: For this role, our client is most interested in talking to credit managers from professional services, partnerships, or management consultancy type business sectors.

Salary + Package:

Circa £45k + bonus + BUPA healthcare, life assurance, and income protection insurance.
